Do I need to prep before my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Please arrive to your appointment without any eye makeup, do not curl your lashes or wear mascara the day before and the day of your appointment. This will help minimize the prep time and allow more time for lashing.

Will extensions damage or pull out my natural lashes?

Accepted Answer

Lash extensions will not cause your natural eyelashes to fall out. Based on the growth cycle of eyelashes, when applying lashes, stylists are trained to look for mature lashes to attach the individual lash extensions. Remember that your natural lashes have their own life cycle of shedding and growing – like the hair found elsewhere on your body. It's hard to notice small lashes falling out, but when attached to thicker and longer lashes, they become more noticeable. Once the extensions are removed, your natural lashes may appear shorter and sparser because you have been accustomed to a full set of longer, thicker lashes.

How long will my extensions last?

Accepted Answer

Your new lashes will last between 2 to 3 weeks depending on your skincare routine and your own natural lash life cycle. To maintain the full look of your lashes, it will require you to maintain fill-ins every 2-3 weeks.

Can I get my extensions wet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We recommend that you do not wash your eye area for at least 24 hours after the initial eyelash extension application. This allows the adhesive to fully dry and prolong the life of your extensions. After that, you can wet your extensions. Keep in mind that water breaks down glue and excessive exposure to water may affect retention.

I got my lashes done somewhere else, can I book a fill with you guys?

We do not do refills from other salons, booking with SoLash'd will require a removal of old lashes and a new set by one of our artists. You may see different artists within our salon but we will not work on top of lashes from somewhere else.

Question 6

Can I bring my child to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

We do not permit children under the age of 10 years old on the main floor of the salon.
 In the event that you need to bring a child we can accommodate you in our private room. The private room must be booked in advance by calling the salon and there is a convenience fee of $20 in addition to your service fee. 
If you must bring a child of any age please be sure to pack headphones for their entertainment device of choice!
